Holly walked out of the school building, letting the door fall heavily shut behind her. She didn't have any classes to attend at the present time so she really didn't have anything to do. Normally she would stay in her dorm room, looking over old photos that were in an album she kept under bed. Today though she didn't feel like having another crying session.
The strong wind that flowed across the grounds hit her like a ton of bricks. Her hair flew back behind her while some of it just hit her face in various positions. She pulled the strands that were across her mouth and eyes away, allowing her to see where she was going better. Her arms wrapped loosely around her small frame, keeping her somewhat protected from the strong wind.
As Holly walked through the grounds she began to wonder why hardly anyone else was outside. Normally she would see quite a few people, running around the grounds or talking with friends about the latest gossip. Today however she hardly saw anyone expect for a few spare freshmen who had no idea what was going on. She use to be like that. Now she knew what to do and when, it just required her actually wanting to do what she had to do at that time.
Holly decided to wander over to one of the less traveled paths that she knew of. She looked up at the sky as the wind whipped past her again, making her slightly cold from it. She was now wishing she had brought a thicker jacket. Sighing softly, Holly continued to walk down the small path, hoping she would run into someone she knew.

Trevor didn't much care for the math class his father had picked out for him. His father was always hoping he'd want to take over being the architect in the family when he retired but Trevor didn't want that. That is why ever so often he allowed himself to ditch that math class and enjoy the fact he was doing something he wanted to do for a change.
Though at times when he had nothing to do and he was standing out in the middle of the school, memories of Sydney came back to him. He could always see her face in the people passing by but there was one good thing about today, no one else was out walking around like him. Forcing himself to forget those memories he walked on hoping he'd find somewhere new, somewhere that didn't hold memories.
As he was walking he noticed a path he had never noticed before when he was here at school. It looked as though people avoided it and he could understand why, it looked as though it was a longer way around to get to anywhere. He walked over to the path and begun to walk it, it seemed so quiet out he was surprised he couldn't even heard a bird chirping or student chattering. It was the perfect day for someone who liked silence but for someone who dreaded the thoughts that came with silence it was like a living nightmare.
Trevor cursed himself for not taking his I-Pod to school today as he could really use it right now.

The LookHolly continued to walk down the deserted path, kicking at a few rocks every now and then. She soon grew bored of the silence so she pulled out her I-Pod and put the earphones into her ears, blasting Fighting by Yellowcard as loud as she could stand.
Slipping her hands into her jacket pocket, Holly continued to walk down the path. She was wearing her usual hoodie which still had the smell of her ex-boyfriend on it. She missed Glenn more and more everyday. She still kept in contact though with his parents and some of his friends mainly as support than anything else. She knew his parents loved her to death and hoped they would wed but after what happened his parents mainly kept watch over her, taking her in whenever she needed a place to stay.
Sighing softly, Holly looked up at the sky, starting to sing the song she was listening to. Lyrics

Trevor could feel the wind whipping at his hair and blowing into his eyes, his nose grew cold but the two jackets he had on kept him warm. He had been expecting today to be cold as his father was always watching the weather channel and he had seen the forecast. Tomorrow it was supposed to rain but he liked the rain, it had a way of numbing things.
Bored from his lack of being able to do anything but walk he shoved his hands into his pockets and looked down at the ground. When he looked back up he saw someone ahead of him. As he drew closer he saw it was Holly, they were on a normal talking basis now. They didn't particular go out of their way to talk but they were decent to each other.
When Trevor approached her he decided he might as well greet her seeing as they were the only ones out. He saw the earphones in her ear and to get her attention he tapped her on the shoulder.

Holly looked up when she felt someone tapping her on the shoulder and noticed it was Trevor. She paused her music and pulled one of the ear phones out of her ear, glancing at him as she continued to walk down the path.
"Hey Trevor" she said looking up at the sky. It was hard to talk to him at times. Especially since she had realized lately that she had began to like him, making everything completely hard and drama-filled. "What are you doing out here?" she questioned, looking back at him. Normally the others students kept inside on cold days as if they would freeze if they stood outside for too long. Those kinds of people always bugged Holly for some reason. She loved the cold and never really minded being out in it. It was soothing at times to her. "I figured you'd be inside like all the other babies who are scared to get cold" she said softly, looking down at the path.

"Holly," Tevor said greeting her back, when she continued to walk on he decided he might as well follow her. When he had seen her she had taken his mind off of other things. “I’m ditching math class, it wasn’t really my choice to take it in the first place.”
He trailed alongside Holly instead of staying behind her or in front of her, she at least had been smart enough to bring her I-Pod. She looked as though she hadn’t wore as warm a clothes at she could have for a day this cold. Obviously her dad wasn’t obsessed with the weather channel like his. “The cold doesn’t bother me and I’d rather be out in it then in that math class even if I did hate the cold,” Trevor said shrugging.
